Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov commented on Facebook on the protest his party held Saturday in front of the European Commission office in Sofia.
"Freedom is always at the tip of the spear. Yesterday 10,000 free Bulgarians took to the streets to defend freedom and democracy in our enslaved homeland. Our right to vote was trampled, our voices were silenced, our laws were flouted, our freedom was taken away. When the law degenerates into lawlessness, resistance is mandatory! The fight is just beginning. On Wednesday, we will continue in the National Assembly. I call on every free Bulgarian who has the time and the will to come at 8 am in front of Parliament to defend their freedom and their right to choose,” Kostadinov wrote.
“The vast majority of the Bulgarian people do not want the euro and want to keep the Bulgarian lev. Vazrazhdane, as the only Bulgarian political organization in Parliament, will defend its people. At the cost of everything, and with the help of its allies in Europe,” the post said.
