Georg Georgiev was born in Sofia on October 20, 1991. He was MP in the 43rd, 45th, 48th, 49th, 50th National Assembly and is MP in the current 51st.

Georgiev was deputy foreign minister from November 2014 to January 2017, according to GERB party's website. He holds a Master's degree in political consulting from Sofia University and a Bachelor's degree in political science from Sofia University.

Georg Georgiev has also attended the China Diplomatic Academy affiliated with China's Foreign Ministry.
