Representatives of GERB-UDF and Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) held a second day of negotiations on the future government here on Sunday. The negotiations for the day ended after nearly 11 hours and no statements to the media.

At the start of the talks on Sunday, GERB-UDF Deputy Chairman Denitsa Sacheva told journalists: "We are holding talks, which I believe are constructive."  

Over the weekend, the two largest groups in Parliament negotiated on the government rotation and the future of reforms after the Denkov cabinet resigned on March 5. The resignation was part of an arrangement that Denkov and Gabriel will rotate as prime minister and deputy prime minister over a nine-month period.

On GERB-UDF's negotiation team were otgoing Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel, GERB Deputy Chair Temenouzhka Petkova and MPs Denitsa Sacheva and Raya Nazaryan, who told reporters ahead of the negotiations that she expects constructive dialogue.

On CC-DB's negotiation team wereoutgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, CC co-leaders Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev and DB co-leaders Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Atanasov, who commented on Saturday that people can rest assured that an agreement will be reached.
