site.btaHonorary Consulate of Bulgaria to Open in Cluj-Napoca

The Council of Ministers adopted Friday a decision to open an Honorary Consulate with seat in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca and with a consular district covering the regions of Cluj, Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Salaj, Bistrita, Maramures, Alba Iulia and Targu Mures.

Mrs. Stefania Berciu Martac will serve as Bulgaria’s Honorary Consul in Cluj-Napoca. Martac is a lawyer and long-time co-owner of SDC Imobiliare Group - Romania, one of the largest Romanian construction companies.

The opening of an Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria in Cluj-Napoca will provide new opportunities for promoting cooperation at regional level in order to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral trade, economic, cultural and educational ties between Bulgaria and Romania.
