Varna Regional Governor Prof. Andriyana Andreeva and Burgas Regional Governor Prof. Maria Neykova on Wednesday signed a partnership agreement, which aims to unify good management practices between the two regions on the Black Sea, the Burgas Regional Administration said.
The main goal of the agreement is to step up cooperation in tourism, education, science, culture and art, which will lead to improved economic activity and development of these areas, the press centre said. One of the main points of the partnership is to create conditions for good tourism through joint initiatives and the exchange of good practices for the promotion of tourist sites and destinations in both regions.
As part of the cooperation, joint actions will be discussed and implemented in a number of areas, including discussing cases and exchanging experience in the preparation and conduct of the active tourist season, supporting various organizations for the development of tourism, as well as improving administrative services for individuals and businesses.
The two regions will also cooperate in working with students to increase their interest in local landmarks and cultural values.
