GERB's Governance Programme
Focuses on Institutional Reforms,
Financial Decentralization


Sofia, September 4 (BTA) - Institutional reforms - individual
ministries of economy, energy and tourism, a merger of the
National Revenue Agency and the Customs Agency, financial
decentralization of municipalities, and external assessment of
Bulgarian universities are among the key features of the
governance programme of GERB. Experts of the party in various
sectors presented the programme to the media on Thursday.

In the words of Tomislav Donchev, the strategic priorities for
the country are: the efforts to improve the demographic
situation, the guaranteeing of Bulgaria's international security
and the preservation of its geopolitical orientation, the
adequate participation of the country in the changing EU, and
the development of digital economy based on knowledge and
innovations. The reforms in the individual sectors will also
continue, Donchev added.
