Economy Minister Loukarski Pays Official Visit to London

Sofia, April 17 (BTA) - Economy Minister Bozhidar Loukarski is on an official two-day visit to the United Kingdom as of Sunday, his Ministry said.

On Sunday, he participated in the opening and visited the Bulgarian stand at the international trade show "Natural and Organic Products Europe 2016" in London. Twelve Bulgarian companies are presenting their organic products at the show, which is the biggest exhibition of organic products in Europe. Over 600 companies from 78 countries are taking part in this year's event.

On Monday, Loukarski is scheduled to present the opportunities for investing and doing business in Bulgaria to companies from the London City at the invitation of Jeremy Browne, who is the Special Representative for the City of London Corporation in the European Union. After that, the Minister will confer with The Baroness Neville-Rolfe, who is Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and Minister for Intellectual Property. On the agenda of Loukarski's visit is also a meeting with the CEO of the National Outsourcing Association and Director of the European Outsourcing Association, Kerry Hallard, with whom he and the head of the Bulgaria Outsourcing Association, Stefan Bumov, will discuss Bulgaria's hosting of the Association's annual conference.
