Parliament to Hold Extraordinary Plenary Sitting on Friday
Sofia, October 13 (BTA) - Parliament's acting Chair Dimiter Glavchev has convened an extraordinary plenary sitting on Friday, Parliament's press centre reported Thursday.
On the agenda is a draft resolution to repeal Parliament's October 12 decision to temporarily suspend plenary sittings between October 12 and November 4 because of the presidential elections. The MPs are also to review a draft resolution in connection to the Canada-EU trade agreement, as well as hold Friday's question time.
The Parliament adopted Wednesday a proposal by Ataka to take a break with immediate effect in the run-up to the November 6 presidential elections. The next sitting was scheduled for November 9.
Also on Wednesday, MPs from the Bulgarian Socialist Party and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms collected and submitted 51 signatures in favour of holding the extraordinary sitting on Friday with the above-mentioned agenda.
