Prosecutor Rozalin Trendafilov Elected to Supreme Judicial Council

Sofia, January 22 (BTA) - Prosecutor Rozalin Trendafilov was elected to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on the prosecutors' quota on Saturday. The only candidate for the position, he was elected by 1,086 prosecutors from all over the country voting in his favour. Just ten prosecutors cast invalid ballots.

The deputy district prosecutor of the southern town of Haskovo will serve until the end of this Council's term in September. He said this would be a worthy ending to his career as he would retire afterwards.
