Flight Cancellations due to Strike


Sofia, August 3 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry advises Bulgarians to monitor online information about flights at London's Heathrow Airport in connection with the airport staff's strike declared on August 5 and 6, the Ministry reported Saturday.

Bulgarians are advised to monitor flights' status and if needed to change the dates of already purchased tickets. The Ministry informs that the Bulgarian Embassy in London is in contact with the Bulgaria Air flag carrier airline. According to the Bulgarian carrier, no flight cancellations are expected to and from the British capital.

The Ministry further explains that the airport support staff strike is expected to continue on August 23 and 24, 2019. LI/MY
