Museum of Religions in Stara Zagora Wins Award for Promoting Interreligious Dialogue

The Museum of Religions Architectural Complex in Stara Zagora won one of three major awards at the CT Award - Connecting Cultures in Stuttgart, the press centre of the Stara Zagora Municipality said on Wednesday.

The architectural complex won the award in the Promoting Interreligious Dialogue category against the nominations of 18 other countries. The award was received by Stara Zagora Deputy Mayor for Culture and Tourism Milena Zheleva, head of the Tourism Department Margarita Krumova and Regional History Museum Director Petar Kalchev.

The CT Award - Connecting Cultures is organized by the Association of Tourist Representations in Germany and held during the largest tourist exhibition for tourist customers in Europe, CMT Stuttgart. Bulgaria is a long-standing member of the association.
