In a decision announced Thursday, the Bulgarian Council of Ministers revoked four previous resolutions proposing amendments to tax laws. The amendments pertain to the Value Added Tax Act, the Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses Act, the Corporate Income Tax Act, and the Personal Income Tax Act.

As a result, the proposed changes to these laws have been officially withdrawn from the National Assembly.

The government’s decision aims to provide the leadership of the Ministry of Finance, which took office following the establishment of the new regular government, the opportunity to review the proposals. The ministry will analyze the projects and potentially introduce revisions before resubmitting them.
