Sofia, january 9 (BTA) - The Office of the Bulgarian Chief Mufti
Friday condemned the killing of innocent people and said that
the Charlie Hebdo massacre is a blow against all Muslims. "We
have strong concerns that such acts aim to use religion to put
pressure on Muslims and people across the world, and to
marginalize Islam," the Chief Mufti's Office wrote in a
statement.

It goes on to say that Islam excludes violence and terror, and
terrorists are alien to the Muslim value system.

The Chief Mufti's Office offers its heart-felt condolences to
the families of the victims of the Charlien Hebdo attack, and to
all French people.

The office goes on to say that while they respect freedom of
speech, they believe that it cannot justify religios sacrilege.
