November Industrial Production

Sofia, January 9 (BTA) - Preliminary data of the National
Statistical Institute show that the seasonally adjusted
industrial production index (IPI) in November rose 0.4
percentage points on October 2014. The working-day adjusted IPI
increased 0.9 percentage points year on year.

Month on month, the IPI rose 0.9 percentage points in the mining
and quarrying industry, 0.7 percentage points in manufacturing,
and 0.2 percentage points in electricity, gas, steam and air
conditioning supply.

Year on year, the November IPI in manufacturing, calculated from
working-day adjusted data, increased 3.5 percentage points.
Decreases were seen in the mining and quarrying industry by 7.6
percentage points and in electricity, gas, steam and air
conditioning supply by 1.6 percentage points. LI/DD
