Prime Minister Borissov Holds Phone Conversation with EC President Juncker

Sofia, February 12 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov held a phone conversation with European Commission (EC) President Jean-Claude Juncker on Friday morning, the Government Information Service said. Borissov informed the EC President of the current situation on the Bulgarian-Greek border in relation to the blockade by protesting Greek farmers, and called on the EC to take measures within its powers so as to normalize the traffic along this transport corridor.

The Bulgarian PM noted that he will take part in the Visegrad Four's summit on the migration crisis in Prague on February 15, where he will reconfirm Bulgaria's position on the need to strengthen the control along the EU's external borders.
