National Health Insurance Fund Releases LV 50 Mln from its Reserve

Sofia, October 18 (BTA) - The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) will release 50 million leva from its reserve to cover payments for medicines, medical products and special foods, as well as for cancer treatment.

The decision was made by the NHIF Supervisory Board and made public by the NHIF press office Tuesday.

The Supervisory Board also discussed the NHIF budget for 2017. The draft budget sets expenses at close to 3.5 billion leva.
