Kubrat Pulev Defends WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight Title against Kevin Johnson

Sofia, April 29 (BTA) - Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13 KOs) defeated former world title challenger Kevin Johnson (30-8-1, 14 KOs) by a 12-round unanimous decision on Friday night at the Arena Armeec in Sofia.

The 35-year-old Pulev is now the challenger for the winner of the clash between Anthony Joshua and former opponent Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday.

This was Pulev's fifth straight win since losing to Klitschko by a fifth-round knockout on November 15, 2014.
