Pakistan, Bulgaria Sign Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement

Sofia, May 2 (BTA) - On April 26, Pakistan and Bulgaria signed an Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Regard to Taxes on Income, the Pakistani Embassy in Sofia said.

The Agreement was signed in Islamabad after a second round of negotiations, which took place between April 24 and 26, 2017. The first round was held in Sofia in November 2016. Iskra Slavcheva, Director of the National Revenue Agency Tax Treaties Directorate, signed the Agreement for Bulgaria, and Muhammad Iqbal, Chief for International Taxes at the Federal Board of Revenue, signed it for Pakistan.
