In November 2024, production in the construction sector increased in the European Union and the eurozone on a monthly and annual basis, according to the latest, seasonally adjusted Eurostat data published on Monday on the website of the statistical agency.
In Bulgaria, the performance of the construction sector has improved, with the sector expanding by 1.7% in November 2024 compared to October, when growth of 0.2% was reported. On an annual basis, production in the construction sector in this country increased to 8.6% in November, compared to growth of 5.9% reported in October compared to the same month in 2023.
In November, compared to October 2024, construction output increased by 1.3% in the EU and by 1.2% in the eurozone.
In October 2024, construction output went up by 0.6% in the EU and by 0.8% in the eurozone.
Also in November 2024, compared to the same month of the previous year, construction output went up by 0.9% in the EU and by 1.4% in the eurozone.
