site.btaBulgargaz: April Natgas Price Proposed at BGN 80.75/MWh, Down 7.8% from March

Public gas supplier Bulgargaz has proposed that the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) set a natural gas price of BGN 80.75/MWh for April, Bulgargaz said on Wednesday.
The supplier's request to the regulator notes that the proposed price excludes access, transmission, excise, and VAT costs. If approved, the price would be 7.8% lower than the current March rate of BGN 87.58/MWh, set by EWRC.
According to Bulgargaz, supplies for April will come from its contract with Azerbaijan, 250,000 MWh will be imported from Turkiye, and additional quantities will be drawn from the Chiren underground gas storage facility. No deliveries are planned from the Alexandroupolis Liquid Natural Gas terminal.
EWRC is expected to hold a public session on the proposal at the end of March, and Bulgargaz will submit an updated proposal on April 1. The final decision is due later that day.
