site.btaAnnual Awards in Insurance, Pension Sector Presented at Ceremony in Sofia

For the sixteenth consecutive year, the annual awards in the insurance and pension sector in Bulgaria were presented at an official ceremony on Tuesday at Hotel Marinela in Sofia. The event was attended by caretaker Labour and Social Policy Minister Ivaylo Ivanov, Financial Supervision Commission Chairperson Boyko Atanasov, National Revenue Agency Executive Director Rumen Spetsov, Economic and Social Council President Zornitsa Rusinova, as well as business representatives.

Organizers of the event were the Higher School of Insurance and Finance, the Association of Bulgarian Insurers, the Bulgarian Association of Supplementary Pension Security Companies, the Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriiski Foundation and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers.

First prize in the "Insurers for Society 2024" category, corporate social responsibility awards, was awarded to Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group.

The winner in the "Pension Insurance Company of the Year - Supplementary Compulsory Pension Insurance" category is Pension Assurance Company Doverie.

The winner in the "Pension Insurance Company of the Year - Supplementary Voluntary Pension Insurance" category is Allianz Bulgaria.

The award for "Pension Insurance Company of the Year - Most Dynamic Developing Company" was awarded to UBB Pension Insurance Company.

In the "Insurance Broker of the Year - General Insurance" category, the winner was SDI GROUP.

The "Insurance Broker of the Year - Life Insurance" award went to I&G Insurance Brokers Ltd.

The winner in the "Insurance Broker of the Year - Most Dynamic Developing Company" category is General Broker Club.

The "Insurance Broker of the Year - Sustainable Development" award went to Amarant Bulgaria.

Тhe Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriiski Foundation Awards were also presented at the ceremony.

For the first time, the Higher School of Insurance and Finance presented a special national award for contribution to insurance education in Bulgaria. The award was presented to the National Trade and Banking High School in Sofia.
