BTA Director General Kiril Valchev on Thursday commended students from the National Aprilov High School in Gabrovo for their outstanding performance during an internship at BTA this week.

The programme included ten 12th-grade students who engaged with Home News, International News, Economy, Sports, Culture, Science, Education (LIK), and Social Media.

Valchev invited them to continue their education at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication in Sofia after completing secondary school and encouraged them to consider starting their careers at BTA.

The internships have been running for three years under a cooperation agreement signed in 2022 between BTA and the National Aprilov High School. The students described the BTA School programme as valuable, interesting, varied, and enjoyable. One of the interns, Militsa Stoycheva, said the initiative is a remarkable opportunity to step into the world of journalism.
