Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Co-Floor Leader Nadejda Iordanova, who spoke at a press conference in Parliament here on Wednesday, announced that CC-DB's decision is to leave the plenary during the vote of no confidence in Rosen Zhelyazkov's cabinet planned for Wednesday. The motion was tabled by Vazrazhdane and backed by Velichie and Morality, Unity, Honour over the government's alleged failure in their foreign policy.

Iordanova was adamant: "We are not going to take part in this ridiculous circus that is taking place in the plenary." She added that pro-Russian parties are wasting plenary time in a vote of no confidence to the detriment of Bulgaria's national interest. According to Iordanova, the point of this spectacle is to determine who in Parliament is Vladimir Putin's best friend who can act like Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban the best.

The other CC-DB Co-Floor Leader, Nikolay Denkov, said that neither the time nor the reasoning for the motion are appropriate. He added that when the time is right, when Bulgaria fulfils one of its main goals, namely, to be accepted in the euro area, then will CC-DB present the arguments for a no-confidence motion based on the problems with the budget and the struggles with the fight against corruption.
