Parliament adopted on Thursday a declaration condemning the systematic aggressive actions of the Vazrazhdane party that strive to undermine the democratic rule of law in Bulgaria and divert the country from its European path. The declaration was tabled by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) after a Vazrazhdane-organized anti-euro protest on February 22 against the adoption of the euro resulted in the European Commission's building getting defaced and in ten injured police officers.

The declaration was adopted with 132 votes in favour cast by GERB-UDF, CC-DB, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning, and Democracy, Rights and Freedoms. Vazrazhdane voted against, and Morality, Unity, Honour abstained.

There Is Such a People and BSP - United Left skipped this vote, with the one exception being BSP - United Left MP and Parliament Chair Nataliya Kiselova, who voted against the declaration.
