 Krassimir Dimitrov is the new executive director of the National Culture Fund", a check by BTA showed.

“The Fund is operationally led by an executive director, whose responsibility is to organize and control the overall activity by ensuring the implementation of the decisions of the Board of Directors," according to the Fund’s website further said. The head of the Fund is appointed by the Minister of Culture.

Krassimir Dimitrov replaces interim head Diana Dimitrova, who was appointed in 2024 by then Culture Minister Nayden Todorov. 

Krassimir Dimitrov is an expert on culture and is affiliated with There Is Such a People party, whose nomination is current Culture Minister Marian Bachev.
