site.btaMPs to Discuss Vazrazhdane Bill on Foreign Agents Registration

Parliament is to discuss today at first reading a bill on the registration of foreign agents, submitted by Vazrazhdane on Wednesday.

The bill provides for the registration of all persons who have received or are receiving foreign funding. In their motives, Vazrazhdane members point out that the bill guarantees transparency of funding of persons and organizations whose activities are related to informing the public and forming public opinion and who at the same time are conduits of foreign state or corporate interests on the territory of Bulgaria.
