site.btaParliament to Hear Caretaker Finance Minister on 2025 State Budget Draft
At its plenary sitting on Friday, Bulgaria's Parliament is due to give a hearing to caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova, according to the legislature's draft agenda published on its website.
Petkova will be heard on a motion from Manol Genov, an MP of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) – United Left coalition, in connection with the caretaker ministry’s 2025 State Budget Bill.
The National Assembly is scheduled to hold Quick Question Time. According to its agenda, in the first one to two hours of the sitting on the first Friday of every month, the prime minister and his deputies answer topical questions in Parliament.
The National Assembly’s agenda on Friday also includes a regular Question Time session. Finance Minister Petkova, Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov, Regional Development and Public Works Minister Violeta Koritarova, Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov, Environment Minister Petar Dimitrov and Transport and Communications Minister Krasimira Stoyanova will answer MPs’ questions.
