БТА, Жителите на село Зализничне в Украйна ще отбележат 163 години от основаването му

Beautification and landscaping efforts began in the Zaliznychne Village in Ukraine's Bolhrad Municipality in early February, BTA's BG World section learnt from  Zaliznychne Village Council Chair Svetlana Gergi.

"Every week municipal workers remove waste, dry grass and leaves from the streets, roadsides and the village outskirts. The area around the House of Culture, the stadium, the central square and the monument to the first Bulgarian settlers are regularly cleaned, too," Gergi specified.

Street lights were replaced and new ones added, and a public well was retrofitted to provide locals with access to quality drinking water.

The Village of Zaliznychne was founded in 1861 by Bulgarian settlers from the Village of Kadakoy (today's Sadievo) in the Sliven area (Southeastern Bulgaria).
