The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises the Bulgarian nationals residing permanently or temporarily in the quakes-shaken area of the Cyclades group of Greek islands who have decided not to leave, to contact the Bulgarian Embassy in Athens and provide their contact data, the Ministry said on its website. They are also advised to follow carefully the information about the seismic activity in the area and observe strictly the preventive measures and instructions of local and central authorities.

Instructions to citizens on how to act in case of seismic activity can be found in English and Greek at the website of the Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. The website also gives current information on earthquakes in Greece.
