The entrance to the Central Election Commission (CEC) in the building of Parliament is still closed. On Monday at 9:30 am, the registration of parties and coalitions for the upcoming elections on October 27 was supposed to begin.

Representatives of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF’s) youth organization, loyal to honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan, together with journalists, are waiting for the CEC to open its doors. The stairs to the building are blocked by people. There are also representatives of MRF - New Beginnings (Peevski’s supporters) in front.

From a video distributed earlier by the MRF Press Centre, it became known that representatives of both Ahmed Dogan's supporters and those of Delyan Peevski are inside the building.

The press centre of the Movement, which supports the honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan, also showed another video, which shows that Stanislav Anastasov, Halil Letifov and Tsvetan Enchev are standing at the desks that are expected to be occupied by the CEC members for the registration to begin.

At 10:30 the CEC will meet to discuss the situation, the Commission told BTA.
