Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev met here Thursday with Beata Daszynska-Muzyczka, Presidential Ambassador - Special Envoy for the Three Seas Initiative and Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, said the President's Press Secretariat. He said during the meeting that the Three Seas Initiative is establishing itself as a factor in developing connectivity across the Central and Eastern European region and is key to promoting economic exchanges, investment and increased security of energy supply. 

Poland will host the next summit of the initiative in 2025.

Radev highlighted Bulgaria's good partnership with the Three Seas Investment Fund. The fund's investments in Bulgaria are among the largest within the initiative, with a total amount of around EUR 200 million invested in the transport and energy sectors, and the capital raised is around 10 times more than the amount invested by Bulgaria so far.

During the meeting, Beata Daszynska-Muzyczka highlighted the ideas of expanding dialogue of the Three Seas Initiative with the strategic partners of the initiative, strengthening the partnership with financial institutions, as well as expanding the thematic scope of the initiative with a new theme - promoting tourism and cultural exchange in Eastern Europe as a real factor for bringing the countries of the region closer together.
