site.btaBSP Presents Specific Measures for Development of Bulgarian Agriculture

Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Korneliya Ninova and BSP MP candidates met with farmers and producers of Bulgarian products afrom the National Assembly of Sheep Breeders in Veliko Tarnovo. Dozens of farmers shared their problems and sought support and solutions. 

"We have been fighting for Bulgarian, native, quality and tasty fruits, vegetables, milk and meat for years," said Ninova.  She explained that In the next parliament, her party will urgently take a number of measures, including irrigation systems; equalizing the European subsidies for Bulgarian farmers with those of other European producers;  supposrting subidies not  primarily to grain producers, but to fruit, vegetable, milk and meat producers; shortening the supply chain; stopping duty-free and uncontrolled imports from Ukraine; fighting corruption in the sector.
