President Rumen Radev Monday appointed caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev as Foreign Minister and Georgi Tahov as Agriculture and Food Minister, the President's Press Secretariat said.

By the same decree, Stefan Dimitrov was relieved of office as foreign minister and Kiril Vatev as agriculture minister.

Earlier on Monday, Glavchev sent Radev a written proposal for changes in the caretaker cabinet, the government information service said.

On Friday, Radev and Glavchev discussed possible changes in the cabinet, which took office on April 9. On Saturday, the Prime Minister said he had proposed to take the foreign ministry portfolio himself.

Also on Saturday, Radev said he had advised Glavchev to consult experts about coping simultaneously with the responsibilities of the two positions.
