site.btaCabinet Allocates BGN 108,400 for School Transport for Ukranian Pupils

At its meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers allocated BGN 108,400 in financial aid for school transport for Ukrainian pupils with temporary protection in Bulgaria. The resources will be provided under municipal budgets for 2023. 

The pupils will be transported from accommodation centres to schools and back in the period from December 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

The aid is allocated because most families under temporary protection are staying at hotels in Black Sea resorts, where there is a shortage of places at schools. The regions of Burgas and Varna have the biggest number of pupils from such families.
