Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Korneliya Ninova called on President Rumen Radev to propose his own project for amendments to the Constitution. "If there is to be a reasonable debate, let the President too present his proposals and let us sit down for a serious talk. Why is he not presenting his project?" Ninova asked.

She said that the Socialist MPs will not give a single vote in favour of the bill to amend the Constitution submitted by the incumbent, which will be put to the vote in Parliament next week.
