Heavy traffic for trucks at some of the border crossings with Romania, the General Directorate of Border Police (DGBP) said on its website on Saturday. The information on border traffic is as of 6 am.

Traffic is heavy at the Kardam border checkpoint and the Nikopol checkpoint at the exit for trucks.

Traffic has been temporarily reorganized due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse. It is in one lane and regulated by a traffic light. In addition to the Ruse border crossing, drivers in the region can also use the border crossing points of Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last work from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm every day, but no trucks are allowed through them. 

At the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad border crossing points.

At the border with Serbia and the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

At the border with Turkiye, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Temporarily, crossing through the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint will be carried out on one route due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint.
