The conditions for hiking in the mountains are poor on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.
The weather is cloudy, foggy, with light wind, rain and snow showers and temperatures ranging from minus 2C to 0C.
Ahead of the ski season opening, there is a snow cover of between 15 cm and 30 cm, the MRS said.
No hiking-related accidents have been reported in the past 24 hours.
