An international forum on digitalization and investment will be held at the Regional Library in Stara Zagora on March 5, the Regional Economic Development Agency said on Wednesday.

Representatives of the European Commission, the Innovation and Growth Ministry, as well as experts in the field of digitalization and innovation are expected to participate. They will discuss the opportunities for digital and green transformation of regional economies, with one of the main highlights being the presentation of the Bulgarian Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs, as well as successful examples and future development opportunities.

The event will begin with an opening panel dedicated to the dual green and digital transformation of regional economies. The programme will continue with a presentation of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs and success stories from satisfied customers. The forum will also include a panel discussion in which international and local experts will share their experience and recommendations related to digital transformation and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. An important part of the forum is the presentation of upcoming funding opportunities and support for the development of the network of digital innovation hubs within the Digital Europe Programme.

The event is open to all interested parties, with pre-registration required.

The forum is organized by the European Digital Innovation Hubs network in Bulgaria, in partnership with the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission and the Bulgarian Innovation and Growth Ministry.
