site.btaZhivko Petrov Appointed Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications

Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev appointed Zhivko Petrov Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications effective September 12, the government information service said on Wednesday. The proposal came from Transport and Communications Minister Krasimira Stoyanova.

Petrov holds a Master's degree in Navigation from the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy of Varna. He has been Director of the Maritime Administration Directorate of Burgas since March 2022, and held this position between 2007 and 2014. Between 2014 and 2021, he was executive director of the Maritime Administration Executive Agency under the Minister of Transport and Communications.

Anna Mihneva-Natova was relieved of her duties as deputy minister of transport and communications.
