Bulgarians to Vote in 76 Countries  in Presidential Elections

Sofia, September 17 (BTA) - The Central Election Commission (CEC) Friday announced the places abroad where voting sections will be set up for the November 6 presidential elections and national referendum. Bulgarians will be able to vote in 98 diplomatic and consular representations in 76 countries.

Section election commissions (SECs) in sections with up to 500 voters can have up to seven members, including the chairperson, the deputy chair and the secretary. The commissions in mobile voting stations with more than 500 voters can have up to nine members.

The parties and coalitions will be represented on the SECs within a municipality as follows: GERB party 36.84 per cent; BSP-Left Bulgaria coalition 16.67 per cent; Movement for Rights and Freedoms party 13.16 per cent; Reformist Bloc coalition 10.09 per cent; Patriotic Front coalition 7.46 per cent; Bulgaria without Censorship coalition 6.14 per cent; Ataka party 4.82 per cent; and Alternative for Bulgarian Revival coalition 4.82 per cent.

The Regional Election Commission must appoints the SECs by October 11, and the mobile SECs by October 26.

A data processing company will be selected publicly on September 27. Offers can be submitted to the CEC between September 23 and 27.
