On Day 2 of his visit to Paris for the AI Action Summit, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov is scheduled to take part in a discussion on the future of artificial intelligence and its applications. The event will also feature Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US Vice President James David Vance, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, among others, according to the Government Information Service.
On Monday, during the opening of the AI Action Summit, French President Emmanuel Macron called for a unified European approach to artificial intelligence, Agence France-Presse reported.
Speaking in English, Macron said "we will adopt the Notre Dame de Paris strategy" on AI projects. "We showed the rest of the of the world that when we commit to a clear timeline we can deliver," he added, referring to the rapid reconstruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
More than 60 major companies announced the formation of a coalition aimed at making Europe a world leader in artificial intelligence and streamlining Europe's regulatory framework.
