Bulgarian athletes won a total of 8 medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze) at the Aphrodite Cup International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament for women and girls in Palaio Faliro, Greece.

The girls' ensemble consisting of Raya Bozhilova, Ioana Moteva, Anania Dimitrova, Gabriela Traykova, Ivayla Velkovska and Elena Hristova, which Saturday won bronze in the all-around, came first in the final with five hoops. The students of Kristina Ilieva and Zhanina Ivanova were impeccable in their performance and received 25.350 points (difficulty 11.300; artistry 7.500; execution 6.550).

Earlier on Sunday, the Bulgarians finished eighth in the final with five pairs of clubs with 14.900 points (6.600; 5.700; 2.600), after multiple many mistakes in their composition.

Magdalena Valkova won a gold medal in hoop, silver in ball and bronze in ribbon in the girls individual finals, after being second in the all-around on Saturday.

In hoop, Valkova performed steadily, with a score of 25.650 points (difficulty 10.500; artistry 7.850; execution 7.300), and  took the gold. In ball she was evaluated with 25.150 (10.200; 7.850; 7.100) and became the silver medalist, following Akmaral Yerekesheva  (Kazakhstan) with 25.400. The Bulgarian placed third in ribbon with 23.450 (8.900; 7.500; 7.050), behind Yerekesheva with 26.450.

National player Anastasia Kaleva came fifth in clubs. She made inaccuracies and was evaluated with 23.600 (9.200; 7.450; 6.950). The gold went to Natalie De La Rosa (USA) with 25.600 points.

In the women's individual finals, Dara Stoyanova took silver in clubs, and Yanitsa Dineva took bronze in ribbon.

Stoyanova performed strongly with clubs and came in second with 26.350 (11.500; 7.600; 7.250). The other national team member Oleksandra Shalueva made mistakes and with 22.950 points (9.500; 7.250; 6.800) took seventh position. The title was won by Alice Taglietti (Italy) with 27.300.

Yanitsa Dineva became the bronze medalist in ribbon. In her only final on Sunday, she performed excellently and was evaluated with 25.200 (10.500; 7.500; 7.200). Shalueva had inaccuracies and with a score of 22.150 (8.800; 7.150; 6.300), finished eighth. The gold went to Erika Zhailauova (Kazakhstan) with 26.550 points.

In the first two women's finals earlier on Sunday,  the Bulgarians made mistakes. In hoop, Oleksandra Shalueva placed seventh with 23.050 points, and in ball, Dara Stoyanova also took seventh position with 20.500 points.

First in hoop was Milana Parfilova (Kazakhstan) with a score of 26.650, and in ball, the Italian Alice Taglieti triumphed with 27.000.
