Massive Attack will perform on the third day of the Sofia Live Festival on June 29, the event's organizers announced on Tuesday.
According to the organizers, the performance by the British trip-hop collective from Bristol is part of a tour that kicks off on June 1, 2025, at the O2 Arena in London and will pass through some of the biggest stages in Europe and the United States.
"Our new live show marks the most radical leap in collaboration between 3D and United Visual Artists since 2003. It is music that unveils the hidden codes of the world, breaking the algorithms and anomalies of the digital age. By disrupting repetitive cycles, we provoke a dialogue about the shattered dream of the free and self-assured individual – against the backdrop of the global collapse of liberal democracies. Get ready for a show that will shake you not only musically but also emotionally," said Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall of Massive Attack. Their setlist will include iconic tracks such as Teardrop, Angel, Protection, and Unfinished Sympathy.
British post-punk band Shame will also perform on the third day of Sofia Live Festival.
