site.btaResident and Non-resident Investment Funds Managed BGN 10,630.7 Mln Assets at End-June 2024

The assets managed by resident and non-resident investment funds operating in Bulgaria totalled BGN 10,630.7 million as of end-June 2024, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) reported on Monday.

The assets in question increased by BGN 1746 million (19.7%), year-on-year (from BGN 8,884.8 million), and grew by BGN 560.8 million (5.6%) from March 2024 (BGN 10,069.9 million).

The total amount of resident and non-resident investment funds' assets equated 5.4% of GDP as of end-June 2024, up from 4.8% of GDP in June 2023 and 5.1% in March 2024.

As of end-June 2024, the assets of resident investment funds amounted to BGN 3,431.4 million, increasing by BGN 609.5 million (21.6%), year-on-year. They increased by BGN 169 million (5.2%) from March 2024.
