site.btaProduction in Services Sector Up by 1.8% in Bulgaria, 1.1% in EU and Eurozone M/M

For April 2024, Bulgaria’s seasonally adjusted services production increased by 1.8 %, compared to 0.3 % in March 2024. In both the euro area and the EU, services production grew by 1.1%, according to first estimates from Eurostat.

On a year-on-year basis, Bulgaria's services production went up by 6%.

In March 2024, services production fell by 0.4% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU.

In April 2024, compared with April 2023, services production increased by 4.8% in the euro area and by 4.2% in the EU.

Among the EU member states, the highest monthly increases were recorded in Croatia (5.1%), Greece (4.4%) and France (3.4%). The largest decreases were observed in Malta (2.7%), Romania (0.7%) and Finland (0.6%).
