site.btaTourism Minister Urges Public and NGO Sectors to Promote Bulgaria as Four-Season Destination

Tourism Minister Zaritsa Dinkova said the busier Bulgaria's stand is at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid, the more people have a chance to learn about Bulgaria. She said that if Bulgaria is to assert itself as a four-season destination, the public and civil society sectors should position well SPA, health, adventure, culinary and wine tourism, among others, Dinkova's Ministry said on Thursday.

Dinkova met with Spanish fashion designer, the 13th Marchioness of Castelldosrius, 29th Baroness of Santa Pau, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, who staged a Spanish Fashion gala in Sofia in 2023. She said her visit to Bulgaria had been one of the most delightful. The fashion show featuring more than 200 Spaniards was exceptional, the designer said, adding that she would like to return to Bulgaria for a longer visit.

A Bulgarian delegation led by the Tourism Minister is participating in FITUR 2024, which is taking place from January 24 to 28, the Tourism Ministry said Tuesday.
