The house of a Bulgarian family has burned in the Los Angeles wildfires, BTA learned from the Bulgarian-American Cultural Educational Society of California (BACES). "We have information, albeit limited, about several BACES members who have been evacuated urgently as well as about a family whose house has burned down in the Eaton Fire near Altadena, unfortunately," the Society said.

BACES also said that according to the weather forecast, the Santa Ana winds are subsiding. "We hope that will allow the wilfires to be put under control, so that people can return to their homes which are still standing, and the restoration and cleaning of the burned homes to begin," BACES said.
