A Conference on Policies and Investments for a Sustainable, Efficient and Secure Energy System will be held on Monday in Sofia, said the organizers from the EnEfect Center for Energy Efficiency. The event, which is organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Finance, will gather experts in the industry for the sixteenth time. The forum will take place in the capital's Hemus hotel.
Nadezhda Bobcheva, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality, Angelina Boneva, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, and Mariano Gonzalez, representative of the World Bank, are expected at the event.
Discussion sessions will focus on issues related to opportunities for larger-scale investment in the building sector, including the development and capitalization of the National Decarbonisation Fund.
The conference will also give the official start to public consultations on Bulgaria's Integrated National Climate and Energy Plan. The most effective policies and investments for a sustainable, efficient, and secure energy system under the integration plan in the field of energy and climate are the basic issues that will be discussed by the guest speakers during the forum.
