The International Biathlon Union (IBU) has nominated Bulgaria's Milena Todorova for athlete of the week at the IBU World Cup round in Oberhof, Germany. The other nominees for the title are Paula Botet (France), Dmytro Pidruchnyi (Ukraine) and Maren Kirkeeide (Norway).

Todorova made history for Bulgaria with a third-place finish in the Sprint - the country’s first women’s podium since 2003/2004 - and followed it with a strong seventh place in the Pursuit.
