Leading experts from Bulgaria and other European countries will discuss the future of the green energy transition at an international forum in Sofia on October 1 and 2, said organizers from Solar Academy Bulgaria and M3 Communications Group. The two-day conference, dedicated to the RES industry, is entitled “Be Renewable 2023" and is the first event in Bulgaria which will bring together the institutional and technological achievements in the sector. Among the keynote speakers are experts of the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Committee, Kozloduy NPP, the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET), the Bulgarian Industrial Association, the Bulgarian National Bank, MEPs, members of branch organization and business representatives. The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is a media partner. 
 
The forum aims to promote partnerships in the sector between European countries, which are essential for shaping a sustainable future in Bulgaria and will support the European energy strategy. The event will welcome hundreds of visitors who will learn about the latest innovations in renewable energy and have the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, successful practices, policies and technological solutions with international industry experts. 

Participating will be representatives of the executive, the European Commission, the non-governmental sector, branch organizations and institutions in Europe, leading energy companies, the academia, diplomats. 
Among the key topics of the forum will be those on European green energy policies, European models and best practices for sustainable transition, human capital in energy transformation: standards and development, financing and investment in the renewable energy sector: challenges and opportunities, energy and climate diplomacy, energy exchanges and market competitiveness, electromobility and sustainable transport: the road to zero emissions, as well as that on innovation in green hydrogen and its potential and role in the energy transition.
